suggest some best battery operated christmas lights with timer?
I’ve been thinking about that too IKEA sells alkaline batterypowered tea lights that turn on eight times and off sixteen times, and last for weeks Why not buy one, increase the battery capacity a bit, and light a few more candles Nothing fancy, maybe five LEDs instead of just one in the lantern
Connect your timer to this device
You could use a device with a 630V DC timer Four alkaline batteries can last quite a while, but once the voltage drops below 15V per battery, it becomes risky You could also try using the timer with the string light battery, but the voltage would quickly drop below the timer’s minimum Here is a link Link I would wire the timer up to a 9V battery or something higher 6V, enough capacity to operate at 6V for a while If your string light only has two wires, you should be able to cut one and connect both ends to the relay so that it closes the circuit when activated by the timer However, there are batteryoperated string lights that have a builtin timer usually 8 hours on and 16 hours off Depending on the desired result, this might work EDIT If you want to use the string light indoors near an electrical outlet, you can also use a timed outlet, plug in a 45V multivoltage wall adapter, and connect it to the positive and negative terminals which are connected to the switch in the string’s battery compartment
It depends on what you mean by “configuration” If you like to experiment with electronics, the most energyefficient method is to use an NE555 timedelay IC Depending on the wattage of your lamps, you may need an additional component, but it’s generally a simple circuit
