Best christmas window clings, Expert recommendations to choose

hi red stains on fridge from some christmas window clings  any tips for removal?? please help i can’t afford to buy my landlord a new fridge :grimacing:

Wow! Try magic erasers. It’s worked for me with other stains on porcelain appliances. Be careful! Solvents like the acetone in nail polish remover can dull the shine. Good luck!

Have you tried isopropyl alcohol? It’s my go-to remedy for ink stains. You can also try dry-erase markers. Draw over the stains and then erase as usual. This usually gets the markers off my whiteboard. (No matter how I hide them, kids or students always find them.) The isopropyl alcohol sticks to the marker, and erasing it removes it. It’s weird, but it works. Afterward, the isopropyl alcohol removes the residue. It shouldn’t harm your refrigerator.

What a pain! What products or methods have you tried? Is it still sticky? I’d start with soap, water, and a scouring pad or stiff sponge. If that doesn’t work, I’d clean it with isopropyl alcohol and then make a paste with baking soda. If that doesn’t work, I’d boil water and wet a cloth with tongs. Then I’d use potholders to hold the cloth and scrub the stains. If that doesn’t work, I’m lost. Maybe you could try Windex?

And indeed, the erasers removed most of the stains, and the rest faded over time. However, the red color took the longest to disappear.

Nail polish remover, perhaps? Or magic erasers?

A little diluted bleach and a dirt eraser should do the trick.

Try isopropyl alcohol. I’ve also had success removing ink from fabric with Amodex, but I’ve never tried it on hard surfaces.

I have them on my hardwood floors and have been trying to get rid of them for years!

I don’t know how to clean it, but as a last resort, there’s appliance epoxy resin, basically spray paint for refrigerators. It’s very effective, blends perfectly, and costs less than a new refrigerator or tank.
