Hey everyone, I’ve been researching Grinch family pajamas over the past few days because my family and I want to try something fun and different for Christmas this year. I’ve checked reviews and recommendations from Good Housekeeping, Better Homes & Gardens, and People, and these two sets are being mentioned the most for their comfort, quality, and festive Grinch design:
Hanna Andersson Grinch Family Pajamas
Kohl’s Dr. Seuss The Grinch Matching Family Pajamas
Both options look great, but I’m having a little trouble deciding which one would be best for us. I want something that’s comfortable, durable, and photo-worthy for Christmas Eve and morning photos. The Hanna Andersson ones seem to have higher-end fabric and long-lasting quality, while Kohl’s has a wider range of sizes and more affordable pricing.
Our family usually includes four people (two adults and two kids), and we like pajamas that aren’t too heavy but still cozy enough for winter nights. We also take a lot of holiday photos, so I’m hoping to find a set that looks great on camera and holds up after washing.
If anyone has experience with either of these Grinch pajama sets or has found good deals on them this season, I’d really appreciate your thoughts. Are the Hanna Andersson ones worth the extra cost, or do the Kohl’s pajamas give better value for money?
Any advice, reviews, or shopping tips would be super helpful. Thanks in advance and happy holidays!
We bought the Kohl’s Grinch pajamas last Christmas, and they were such a hit! The fabric is soft and not too thick, which is great for sleeping. I washed them several times and they didn’t fade at all. The print is super cute, especially the kids’ version with the little Grinch faces.
I actually got the Hanna Andersson Grinch set last year during their Black Friday sale, and it was 100% worth it. The quality is amazing — buttery soft cotton and perfect stitching. You can totally feel the difference in material compared to the cheaper ones. They’re pricey, but if you plan to wear them again next year, I’d say go for Hanna.
We did Kohl’s Grinch pajamas for the whole family, including the dog! The sizes were easy to match, and they had a pet bandana too. The kids loved it, and the photos came out awesome. Can’t say anything bad about them honestly.
I’ve tried both brands. Hanna Andersson’s cotton is on another level — really smooth and breathable. Kohl’s are cute and fun for the price, but they start to pill a bit after a few washes. Depends on whether you want them for one season or to keep for a few years.
We go all out for Christmas, so I always buy a new pajama set each year. The Hanna Andersson Grinch collection from two years ago was the best we ever had. It still looks brand new! I’ve just ordered another pattern this year.
Not gonna lie, I couldn’t justify the Hanna price tag. Picked up Grinch pajamas from Kohl’s on sale for like half the price, and they were perfect for a one-night wear on Christmas Eve. Everyone looked adorable in the photos.
I think it depends on your climate. If you live somewhere warm, the Kohl’s ones are lighter and more comfortable. Hanna’s are thicker and feel cozier, which is great if you get cold winters.
We’ve been wearing the Hanna Andersson Grinch pajamas for three seasons now, and they still look fresh. The elastic and seams hold up beautifully. If you plan to make matching PJs a yearly photo thing, invest once and reuse.
Honestly, both look adorable. I’d just grab whichever one has a better sale. Kohl’s usually drops prices closer to Thanksgiving, so maybe wait a week or two if you’re not in a hurry.
Just wanted to say how cute it is that the Grinch pajama trend is still going strong. We did ours from Kohl’s last year and even wore them to a “Grinch-mas” movie night. Everyone kept asking where we got them from!
