I want to buy some sturdy string lights for my garden, but I’m not sure whether to use plastic or glass bulbs One of the lights will be installed under a covered patio, while the other US dollars’t I’m worried that the uncovered string lights will melt on the first day in temperatures above 46C Amazon lists them for temperatures up to 50C And with glass, I risk multiple fires Please help me
They are available at Costco for 4900 and have worked great for me for the past two years
I’ve had them outside in our front yardon our patio for two years with no problems
Mine are plastic and have been there for at least three years they were there when I bought the house and are in good condition
Plastic bulbs can easily exceed 115C I have a daylight version, but I would have preferred this one
As for ball games soccer, baseball, I prefer plastic balls Ask me how I know I’ve had plastic balls the last two summers, and they worked great Solar balls, too
We bought ours from and it looked great and much better than the others we bought from Amazon
