I’ve always had a dollar tree, but my husband and I are getting older, and it’s better to upgrade to an artificial one. I want to put the tree on some kind of pedestal so it’s a little taller. Do you have any suggestions for making it more festive?
For this, I use a small wooden table. The tree is about 160 cm tall, and I can also place a small Christmas village around it on a side table.
I tie them to plant supports with wires.
I used to stack milk crates, attach the base of the tree to the slats, and then cover it with my big tree skirt.
I have an ivory chest with bunnies painted on the base. I cover it with a blanket of white artificial snow and then place my 4-foot-tall tree on top. I also have a large, round copper planter, which I turn upside down to serve as a stand for the tree.
