I’m looking for inspiration. I have an evergreen tree in my front yard that I want to decorate as a garden tree. I don’t want it to look sculptural, but rather elegant. I think I’d like to try ribbons. I have electricity. The tree is tall and narrow, maybe 45 feet in diameter and 12 feet tall. I live in Northern Virginia, so snow is possible, but not likely. Does anyone have links to photos of similar arrangements for inspiration, or perhaps a good store with suitable decorations?
How about natural elements like pine cones and berries, burlap ribbons, and lights? I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for, but this woman’s blog has a photo of a tree on her porch that captures the image well.
