Hi, I’ve already started on the Christmas decorations. I’ve already put up my Christmas tree, haha, and I want to decorate the TV stand, but I have a problem. His name is Onion, and the little one will eat anything that looks like pine or ribbons. I really want to make a sort of “garland” on the TV stand with some string lights I already have. He doesn’t seem too interested in lights, so that’s fine, but I’m not sure what to use instead of the garland of pine cones and artificial leaves that most people hang on mantels or TV stands. Any ideas? I was thinking about something made of fabric, but I’m also not sure what to name it or what to look for. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Matatabi sticks are chewable for cats. A good bribe for the threat!
Sisal is used in cat towers and as old rope for wrapping gifts. Get a garland of sisal-wrapped balls. Gathered burlap garlands with foliage will take up much of the desired volume. All of the products mentioned are available in brown and beige. For a pop of color, consider a felt ball garland. Felt is approved for cat toys, as long as it sheds.
You know those little feather sticks for the tree? I just glue them to a stick in the tree for storage, and the little tufts of feathers sticking out are a nice aesthetic touch.
