We bought this 1.2-meter-tall tree for Christmas because I told my wife not to buy another tree that tall. At first, she decorated it by slightly bending the branches. Then, we checked the box and realized the branches should be much shorter. So we tried bending them down, and now the tree looks pretty ugly. We could balance them better, but it looks sparse. Any suggestions, or should we return it?
I would return it
It looks like pieces have fallen off. Turn it over.
I wouldn’t keep it. I have a little tree like that, but it’s much fluffier.
Artificial trees are very complex. I worked on ours for about two hours. It’s only 65 cm tall and should be a little sparser so the trunk can be seen. Try lowering the main branches slightly, then fanning out all the tips and bending them upward, away from the main branch. Staggering the placement will achieve a better effect. It takes time, but it’s worth it.
Buy garlands in the color of the tree and wrap them.
