hi is there anyone to tell me that how to put lights on a silver tip christmas tree
Yes, I’ve been doing this for about 25 years. I call it the inside-out technique. You place a row of lights in the center, but not directly on the trunk, and then add another layer at the edge of the tree, near the branch tips. This gives the tree visual depth and makes it glow brightly.
That’s more effort than I’ve ever put into decorating my tree in my entire life, and it seemed easy. I’m on a chain of efforts.
My mom does something similar, I still don’t know how. One year she hung almost 2,000 lights on the tree, and it looked beautiful.
And here is the finished product.
I was asked to create a time-lapse showing how I attach the lights to the tree. Also very interesting: 1. Take the tree out of the attic. 2. Connect the legs to the base. 3. Connect the next two parts of the tree. 4. Connect the power cable. 5. Turn it on.
Ah, that’s right. I always thought it was enough to put a strip on one side and roll it up. It’s so easy when you know how to do it properly, like your partner.
Ah, the inner layer. This definitely improves my lighting.
I wish someone would appreciate my tree-decorating skills. Years ago, I worked at Big Lots and I was the one who put up the decorations, especially the Christmas ones, because I’m very Christmassy. I’d put up about 12 trees one day and decorate them with special ornaments the next. After three years, I’ve become quite the pro at putting up and decorating Christmas trees. This year, for example, when I put up my tree, one of my roommates looked at me and said I looked like a cartoon character moving really fast, and I always did it right. I bet I went from a tree in a box to a fully decorated tree in less than 30 minutes. The bad thing is that this year at my job, which is no longer at Big Lots, there was a Christmas tree contest, and I lost to a mini tree that had two strips of tinsel around it and a rocket on top. The problem, however, was that the photo under the tree showed four dogs wearing Santa hats. Mine is a 9-foot tree with red and gold balls in three different sizes and designs, multicolored lights, and the way this person set up the lights: two stripes. I’m not saying mine should have had dollars, but whoever had them definitely shouldn’t have.
Wrap the tape in a zigzag pattern around the tree so you don’t have to wrap it in a spiral, especially if one side is in a corner or against a wall. It’s much easier to peel off because you don’t even have to wrap around the entire tree.
I just started lighting my own tree, so this is new to me. Does it form a tight inner circle at the top and then a second circle at the bottom? If so, why hasn’t it worked well with the few trees I’ve tried? But I only did one pass from bottom to top, and it turned out fine.
What does it mean when someone says “partner” instead of “wife,” “husband,” “spouse,” “girlfriend,” etc.? I only see it on Reddit and have no idea what it means, and I’m not trolling. I haven’t seen this term anywhere else.
Wait, I saw a roll.
Clark Griswold would be proud
I like to sit on the ground and spin the tree in its stand while my wife adjusts the lights so they spin in the right direction. Otherwise, you get dizzy from all the spinning.
I love your dog’s cameo. Or was it a reindeer? And the amount of lights you used.
