I was excited and ready to put the tree together. I literally couldn’t get past the first step, which was assembling the stand. The instructions say you have to put the stand key into the stand. I put together all the pieces they sent me. Nothing seemed to fit. I looked on their website and then online to see what their stand key looked like. Nothing. I called BH and contacted the department that was supposed to help me put the tree together. The guy didn’t know what I was talking about. Frustrated, I decided to put all the pieces they sent me into a bag they sent me. Tied to the bag was a carabiner with something that apparently needed to be attached. It was a bolt. So I was able to sneak in and put the tree together in 10 minutes, not counting the swollen branches.
Is that what you use to press it tighter against the trunk so it doesn’t fall? I remember ours had a curve at the end to make it easier to turn.
