Not all the tree skirts I’ve seen in stores are washable, so I stopped looking I instead use vintage quilts I know plenty of washable quilts that would look fantastic draped around a pencil tree
I used pretty blankets, but you could also use a table runner There’s a good selection on Amazon I also wrapped a box and placed the holder inside You can gift wrap it, or I found barnwood wrapping paper to make it look like a necklace

I use round tablecloths and cut them in half They come in different fabrics and sizes I like sequins because they reflect light beautifully
