I have two artificial Christmas wreaths that I want to light with seed lights or string lights. Both have 50 warm white (monochromatic) LEDs. I’d like to replace these 50 white LEDs with 50 WLED-controlled pixels that match the pixels on the ceiling line (using Dig Quad). I’m considering using Dig2Go and seed lights or string lights. There are power outlets just above each wreath, so each one could have its own Dig2Go. Will the seed lights or string lights fit inside the wreaths? Do you have any suggestions, recommendations, or questions about this method?
This year, I used a similar method for my wreaths. I used bullet pixels and connected them in two concentric circles. The outer ring consists of 32 pixels, and the inner ring consists of 18. I opted for this method instead of wrapping the rope around the wreath so I could attach it as an accessory to xLights. The circular arrangement creates a beautiful effect with the white LEDs. It also ensures that all the lights are facing the street.
It seems that Dig2Go is more for pixel strips than bullet pixels, so we’re moving on to a new channel with DigQuad.
