Hey everyone,
I’ve been looking into getting a new Christmas tree for this season and recently came across Santa’s Best Christmas Trees. I’ve seen them mentioned quite a bit in reviews from Better Homes & Gardens, The Spruce, and Good Housekeeping, and they seem to be pretty popular for their lighting quality and easy setup.
Two models really caught my attention:
Santa’s Best 7.5 Ft Pre-Lit Fraser Fir
Santa’s Best 9 Ft Scottsdale Spruce Pre-Lit Tree
From what I’ve read, the Fraser Fir is known for its realistic needle texture, sturdy construction, and energy-efficient LED lights that can switch between warm white and multicolor modes. The Scottsdale Spruce, on the other hand, stands out for its fuller shape, quick-connect setup, and built-in foot pedal for light control — which sounds super convenient.
I’m mainly looking for a tree that looks lifelike, has reliable pre-lit LEDs, and doesn’t take forever to assemble or store. I usually prefer something around 7.5 ft since that fits best in my living room, but I’m also open to slightly taller ones if they’re easy to manage.
Has anyone here used a Santa’s Best tree before? Are they really as good as the reviews say? Also, if anyone has spotted any good deals or discounts on these models, please share — I’d love to snag one before prices go up closer to the holidays.
Any thoughts or personal experiences would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, and happy decorating!
I bought the Santa’s Best 7.5 Ft Fraser Fir last year and absolutely love it. The lights are beautiful and super bright, and the ability to switch between white and multicolor is such a nice touch. Setup was quick too — I had it up and fluffed in under 30 minutes. Definitely feels like a premium tree.
We’ve had a Santa’s Best tree for three years now. Ours is the Scottsdale Spruce, and it’s holding up really well. The branches are strong enough for heavy ornaments, and the light connections are built inside the pole, so no messy cords. Worth every penny if you want something that lasts.
I’ve seen these trees in Costco during the holidays, and they look amazing in person. The needles have that realistic soft texture, not the shiny plastic kind. If you can find one in-store, you might get a better price than Amazon too.
I was torn between Santa’s Best and Balsam Hill last year. I ended up going with Santa’s Best because of the built-in foot pedal and multicolor lights. It doesn’t look quite as dense as Balsam Hill, but for the price difference, it’s still a great value.
We’ve had the Scottsdale Spruce since 2021, and it’s been great. One small thing though — make sure to store it properly. I didn’t use the original box the first year and some branches bent out of shape. Now I keep it in a storage bag, and it’s fine.
Honestly, Santa’s Best is my go-to brand now. The light modes are super fun for parties, and the LEDs haven’t burnt out at all. I even leave the tree plugged in for hours, and it never overheats.
I just checked out the Fraser Fir model you mentioned, and wow, the price isn’t bad for the quality. I love how full it looks in the pictures. I might order it soon before they sell out — seems like a solid mid-range choice between cheap trees and luxury ones.
My neighbor has a Santa’s Best tree, and it’s stunning when lit up at night. The lighting is even and bright from top to bottom. I think what makes it stand out is the color transitions — it doesn’t flicker or look cheap at all.
