What should I use to cut down a Christmas tree?

For those of you who are cutting down your own Christmas tree, what tools do you choose I’ve been using the folding battery saw my motherinlaw gave me for the past two years, but it’s been inconvenient in many ways I need to find a dedicated tool that I can take with me when I go to her house to pick up the tree My portable saws are all great Does anyone in your family use more traditional tools A mini chainsaw A hacksaw A garden saw

I use a DeWalt mini chainsaw with a 9inch pruning blade I went out yesterday and had no problems I was looking for an excuse to buy a 12inch cordless chainsaw, but I haven’t used it enough

The saw blade is always stuck to the wood This is because the moisture in the wood expands with heat I’m a carpenter, so I have every tool in the world, but I still prefer using a simple axe

I just got out my 24inch hacksaw and felled my first tree I’ll be bringing in another one in three weeks The holidays continue into January, so the tree dollars’t rot Anyway, I installed a Greenwood blade on my hacksaw It only takes 10 seconds to cut down a tree

I primarily use a hatchet and a machete for this task The wood is soft, so I can cut through it fairly quickly with a hatchet For those pesky limbs, use a machete
