what to write on santa letter

I have a great gift idea. Tell me a little about your child’s interests and, if possible, your budget, and I’ll help you come up with some great gift ideas! If you don’t believe me, here’s an example: For a few years, my dad went on and on about an old Levi’s denim jacket he had when he was 17 or 18. It was lined, but didn’t have a hood. It stayed in his locker when his family sold the farm, and he never got it back. I didn’t make much, and I wasn’t expecting to find a jacket like that for him. But last year, I found one for a great price on eBay, and I couldn’t believe I had gotten (a version of) his old jacket back! He was thrilled!

Thanks for sharing your sweet story

I love it! I need a little gift (family rule: don’t overspend. It’s usually around £10) for my 20-year-old sister. She loves cleaning the house, partying with her friends and Taylor Swift, and lives in a student residence. I’ve given her small kitchen utensils, which she also loves. She misses our pets (they’re still alive, but she lives far away), so maybe we could incorporate them into her home? Any ideas are welcome. :star_struck::santa_claus:t2::christmas_tree:

I’ll try. My mother, who says she doesn’t want anything. She likes puzzles, both paper and Steam, and we get her a bunch every year. She enjoys singing competitions like The Voice. She likes hummingbirds and pigs. Her favorite color is purple. She reads a lot, both paper and e-books. She loves chocolate-covered blueberries and raspberries. We can’t buy her clothes or bath and body products, except for two things she gets each year: kitchen utensils, gardening supplies, mugs, and anything related to the family photo display. She has no interest in decorating. Outside of work, she lives like a recluse and doesn’t like trying new things. Her husband is on a very strict diet and can’t control himself, so all food has to be single-serving or extremely healthy. Their budget is under $100.

I’m in! For my dad: He loves sports, especially WWE and football (his team, the Chicago Bears), and hosts a WWE podcast with a friend. His interests include all things space, dragons, Star Wars and Baby Yoda, sci-fi/fantasy TV shows, and anything to do with his dog. When we have time, we sometimes go to the movies, play pool, recently took archery lessons, or visited flea markets. He loves receiving and giving crazy or weird gifts. For example, he gave me a pillow with a poop emoji on it. Crazy gifts are never mean or unusual, just gifts that are unusual. He doesn’t like books, tools, jewelry, or puzzles, and he’s not allowed to eat sugary or high-carb foods. So far, I’ve given him a Star Wars t-shirt and a holiday dragon. I plan to buy him gifts that are under $50 each.

My partner (25 months old) loves opening gifts with craft supplies. Something he can build or actively enjoy during the holidays. He has a gaming PC, but he has all the gear he needs and is a total geek. I was thinking Lego, but maybe you can think of something else!

My husband is 45 years old. He’s a great dad. He loves Star Wars, Pokémon, board games, coffee, bourbon, grilling, our cats, and our six-year-old daughter. He dresses very casually. He has a teddy bear, but he doesn’t have the kindness to use beard oil; that gift was a bust. He uses only Dove products. He wears Crocs and New Balance. I’ve given him several coffee mugs, bourbon decanters, etc. over the years. We have a ton of board games. New grill accessories. A meat thermometer. I could really use a hand!

My little brother is very difficult for me: he’s 22, loves nature, studies microbiology at a hippie school in the middle of the forest, doesn’t like reading novels, likes cars and photography, is shy, and gives up on his new hobbies too quickly. He’s very sweet and loves plants and animals. He lives in a shared apartment. Thank you!

This yarn is very soft and healthy.

Thanks for this! I need help! My brother-in-law is hard to find, but he always gets me good stuff. He’s in his twenties and likes to play Xbox and exercise. He doesn’t wear fancy clothes or watches. He’s not an artist or play any instruments. He spends a lot of time with his dogs. He drives a truck. He lives in Texas. He spends his time outdoors. I don’t know.

My 77-year-old aunt is wealthy today, but she’s been working since she was 13. She can afford all the candles, dresses, and accessories she wants. She loves puzzles, so for her birthday I gave her one with a collage of our family. She’s lost most of her siblings (5), whom she practically raised. Once, for Mother’s Day, her sister drew us a very sweet picture. In her spare time, she travels the world, but with age her mobility is decreasing, which saddens her. She loves good food, puzzles, and has a huge collection of video games on her computer, which she wants me to download to her phone. She’s a big advocate for equal rights and loves Jeopardy, Big Bang Theory, Below Zero, and Jazz.

My 45-year-old father is one of my best friends. He’s a school principal and a children’s rights advocate. He works too hard and secretly hates his job. He likes to bake sweet potato pie, exercises a lot, is very talkative, and is married to a soldier. In my opinion, he’s in tip-top shape. He has a new wife, a new house, and a dog. Oh, and a new grandson. He adores my son, and I’m his only child. He’s really gone above and beyond because my children’s father is mediocre and lives out of state. I think he’s a great role model, and I appreciate his support. His last gift was a T-shirt with an embroidered image of my favorite photo of him and my son. I also bought him foot care products! His favorite activities: making jewelry, helping others, cooking, music, sports, and being a grandfather.

Dude. He works in law, is a bit arrogant, knows a lot about everything, and loves a challenge. He enjoys being single, likes to gamble, loves Sadek, and spends days at the beach. He also likes the movie Tesla. He likes to take care of his health and has a compulsive need for organization. I’m looking for something to help him relax, other than alcohol!

Husband of 33 years: He recently acquired a 3D printer, which fuels his creativity. He loves space, science, and classic space movies. He has two children under two. He enjoys playing board games, but doesn’t have many friends to play with.

My mother-in-law! She’s 54 years old. She loves Jesus. Her five grandchildren are her life. She’s very demanding and tells you right away if she doesn’t like a gift. She loves decorating her house. She eats meat. She’s very creative! I try to find something else to give. I feel like it’s not much!
