White christmas garland with lights

I’ve always loved decorating with fairy lights. My outdoor decor is colorful, just like my indoor Christmas tree. This season, I purchased three items from Williams-Sonoma with white lights: the wreath, the garland, and the centerpiece from the Twas line. They’re beautiful. Wouldn’t it be a little kitsch to have a 9-foot-tall Christmas tree, lit with fairy lights, in one corner, with a white wreath and garland on the mantel and a white centerpiece on the table?

I don’t think so. As long as they all have the same white color temperature.

I have colored lights outside, but white lights inside. All the garlands and other Christmas decorations are a warm white, and our tree can be colored or white. Of course, the kids love colored lights, so we let them change the color. The combination of a colored tree and white ornaments looks very pretty. It’s not our favorite, nor my wife’s, but the kids love it.

I made cool white ice cubes with warm, vibrant colors. I think the result is excellent. Check out my article.
